                           Color or Colour?
By Adeline K.

I asked fifteen of my classmates four of the same questions about colors.  I got very interested when I saw their answers. Some of them had the same answers, but some of them were different.  The four questions were “What is your least favorite color?”, “What’s your favorite color?”, “What colors do you like to wear?”, and “Where is the most colorful place you have ever been to?”
Now, I’ll share three of my classmates’  answers with you.

The first classmate I asked was Jennifer B.  Her least favorite color is greenish brown. It’s not surprising that she doesn’t like that color because it is pretty disgusting.  I don’t like that color either. However, the next classmate I interviewed, Sophia P., doesn’t like greens and yellows. The last classmate’s answers that I’m sharing is Nora M.’s.  Nora’s least favorite color is a murky greenish brown.

Next, I asked them what their favorite color was. Jennifer’s favorite color is purple. I’m also not surprised that purple is her favorite color because a lot of people love that color. While Jennifer loves purple, Sophia and Nora both like pink. I like those colors too. What colors do you like?

When I asked my classmates what colors they like to wear Jennifer said, “Pink and dark colors.” I wasn’t surprised when I asked Sophia the same question and she answered with, “I wear neutral colors.” Then I asked Nora, and she said, “Whatever looks good.” Honestly, I agree with Nora, I like wearing whatever looks best also.
I was very surprised when I asked my three classmates “Where is the most colorful place you have ever been to?” because they had different answers. Jennifer answered, “Outside.” I wasn’t even surprised when she said this because it’s really colorful outside. Also, when Sophia answered with “Vietnam,” I wasn’t surprised because I know from photos that Vietnam is very colorful. Last but not least, Nora answered “Botanica” as the most colorful place she’s ever been to.

Overall, my three classmates had some of the same answers and some different answers. All of their answers were unique and I can agree with all of them.

I also had a poll over what eye color my classmates had. Most people in my class have brown eyes, but only two people had either blue or hazel eyes. Also, three of my classmates had other colored eyes.
